A sales professional with a decade and a half of experience, Weston Hyter recently managed strategic accounts at Marin Software in San Francisco, California. In his first nine months in the position, he produced $500,000 in revenue for the company, which is the largest aggregator of data for Yahoo! and Google API. Weston Hyter spent a year as an Account Director with Yahoo! before coming to Marin Software. There, he specialized in paid search and performance display campaigns, orchestrating negotiations with companies such as Macy’s, Chevron Corporation, Netflix, Inc., and Williams-Sonoma Inc. From 2007 to 2008, Weston Hyter directed sales at PopularMedia, Inc., a company which provides analytics for viral marketing, and was recently acquired by StrongMail Systems, Inc. Weston Hyter gleaned much of his insight into the online marketing industry during six years as the Director of Client Development for LinkShare, a Rakuten company. Operating out of a small, remote office in San Francisco for the New York-based corporation, Weston Hyter beat his sales quota each year, earning him recognition as Sales Professional of the Year and membership in the company’s President Club. Before entering the online marketing industry, Weston Hyter served as a Sales Executive for the prominent professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. An alumnus of the University of Kansas, Weston Hyter holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. While at the institution, he was elected the President of the freshman class in 1991 and the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. After graduating in 1995, Weston Hyter spent four years as an Account Executive with Lockton, Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri. Weston Hyter contributes to the community by participating with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Big Brother Big Sisters of America, and the YMCA. During his free time, Weston Hyter enjoys traveling, biking, snowboarding, and reading.
